Chile

In late 2022 and early 2023, I spent nine months traveling through Chile—reconnecting with family I hadn’t seen in years and exploring the country’s breathtaking south. From cutting grass in Quillota with my Tío Carlos to hiking through the jagged peaks of Patagonia with my good friend Andrew, the trip was a rare and grounding mix of belonging and adventure. It reminded me how much place shapes people, and how much I love telling stories about both. Please enjoy this video of me cutting grass 🙂

Discin’

Back in October 2023, Matthew and I took a shot at USDGC Doubles with ROBOT Disc Golf—and while we didn’t exactly light up the leaderboard, the experience was unforgettable. It was the most professionally run disc golf event I’ve ever attended: polished, exciting, and full of passionate players. More than anything, it reminded me how powerful adult hobbies can be—not just for skill-building, but for joy, growth, and community. There’s something deeply good about taking play seriously.
